Chatanix was the first to introduce club music to use within the various sports scenes in Japan, such as snowboarding and surfing. Outside of extreme sports, his music has also been used for the baseball team, the Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters, fashion shows, exhibitions, etc. He also created the intro music for K-1 fighter, Genki Sudo, at the K-1 PREMIUM 2006 Dynamite fight held at Osaka Dome on December 31, 2006. Chatanix has also remixed and collaborated on over 100 songs, Cd and DVD, working with many various artists such as Sugizo and B-DASH, besides over 1000 songs among provided music and original pieces (2010, at the present time).

In 1993 at age 16, Chatanix formed a rock band with his fellow classmates. As a vocalist, he also composed original songs by electric guitar, and the band
held live shows in the Kansai area of Japan. Along with composing original songs for his band, Chatanix began composing intrumental music for his own use, and in 2001, headed to America and Europe and went to see various record label companies, and club events. Taking inspiration from many different artists and track makers, he began using sampling sounds in his music. At this time he held a club event as an organizer and DJ, formed a track maker group, and began composing the songs which he would later release on albums.
1977年 奈良県生まれ。'03年代よりスポーツメディア、ファッションなど音楽提供をし、幅広いジャンルで活躍するプロデューサーで、選曲家。イベントの分野でも格闘技K１、須藤元気引退試合入場パフォーマンスやジャパンラグビー、日本最大級ゲレンデフェスティバル、数々の作品を残すマルチタレント。
日本国内においてスノーボードやサーフィンにクラブミュージックを浸透させた第一人者であるアーティストであり、エクストリームスポーツ以外にも、北海道日本ハムファイターズや、Fashion Show、Exhibitionに楽曲提供している。 2006年12月31日(大晦日) ＠大阪ドームで行われた K-1 PREMIUM 2006 Dynamite!!にて、須藤元気、入場曲を担当。 リミックスワークでは、SUGIZOをはじめB-DASH等、数々のアーティストとコラボレーションしており、CD、DVD、参加作品は100タイトル以上、オリジナル曲、フリー提供用楽曲は1500タイトル以上にのぼる。
